SCOPE OE WORK: <br />FIRE BARNS RESTROOMS AND WARMING HOUSE <br />Lira: CANADA, mINNESCY(A <br />SCOPE or WORK <br />Project Understanding: Design a low - maintenance, durable warming house and restroom building <br />for the Fire Barns hockey/skating /skateboard park. <br />(Note: Items below listed as "Value- Added" are not included in the basic cost proposal but would <br />be added only by request of the City.) <br />Design: <br />• Meet with all stakeholders to discuss project goals, budget, needs, and other project issues. <br />• Visit the site to record existing site conditions. <br />• Develop a working floor plan with optional layouts for discussion with the stakeholders. <br />• Meer to discuss the working floor plan. Select an option for further development. <br />• Continue to work through the floor plan issues. Begin elevation studies. <br />• Incorporate preliminary mechanical, and electrical engineering into the project. <br />• Work through site drainage issues with the City Engineer. <br />• Finalize plans, elevations, materials, and location. <br />• Prepare a derailed cost estimate. <br />Construction Drawings: <br />• Meet to discuss status of the design and incorporate any new comments gained from public <br />presentations. <br />• Prepare detailed plans, elevations, sections, and specifications to a 50% completion level. 50% <br />complete set is given to the City for review and comment. <br />• Coordinate all work with mechanical and electrical engineers. <br />• Continue preparation of the detailed plans, elevations, sections, and specifications to a 95% <br />completion level. 95% complete given to City for review and comment. <br />• Prepare an updated cost estimate. <br />• Finalize all plans and specifications and prepare them for the bidding process. <br />Bidding: <br />• Distribute plans electronically to various plan rooms and exchanges. Review the drawings and <br />specifications for addendum items. <br />• Attend a Pre -Bid walkthrough.
