MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />SEPTEMBER 27, 2006 <br />cost/benefit to determine the threshold that would trigger the City's <br />making this repair. <br />The City Administrator indicated that staff would also develop a policy for <br />Council's consideration to deal with sewer lateral repairs. The <br />Administrator indicated that the information presented Chis evening will be <br />refined as discussed and brought back to the Council for action. <br />PARKS & The Council noCed Chat it has received Letters of interest from four <br />RECREATION individuals seeking appointment to one vacancy on the Parks & <br />COMMISSION Recreation Commission. These individuals are John Grant, Linda Fahey, <br />Thomas RoycrafC, and Patti Sullivan. The applicants met with the Chair of <br />the Parks & Recreation Commission and the Parks & Recreation Director <br />and understanding the responsibilities and duties of commission members. <br />The vacancy is for a term extending through December of 2009. <br />Council voted by ballot, with Linda Fahey receiving three voted and Patti <br />Sullivan receiving two voted. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2006-9-23I -APPOINTING LINDA FAHEY TO <br />THE PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION FOR A TERM <br />EXTENDING THROUGH DECEMBER OF 2009 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Allan. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />EXEMPTION Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />PROM <br />GAMBLING RESOLUTION NO. 2006-9-232 -APPROVING EXEMPTIONS <br />PERMITS - FROM GAMBLING PERMITS FOR ST. JOHN'S CHURCH <br />ST. JOHN'S BINGO EVENTS TO BE HELD ON SUNDAY <br />OCTOBER 29 <br /> <br />CHURCH , <br />, <br />2006AND SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 19, 2006 A5 RECOMMENDED BY <br /> CITY STAFF <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />26 <br />
