There is a great
deal of pedestrian traffic I& this area from the apartments,
townhouses, the condominium and in addition, the students
of Kellogg High School who jog by during their physical
education classes.
Although we have had no fatal accidents, there have been
some near misses. It is especially treacherous as drivers
come around the curve from Demont onto Canabury Drive.
We request that you make a study of this area to ascertain
if it warrants some changes.
Our suggestions would be:
1. A traffic study.
2. Consideration of stop signs at the intersection
of Demont and Canabury Drive.
3. Closer scrutiny by the Little Canada Police
Department.
4. Reduction of 40 mile speed zone on Canabury
Drive.
We will sincerely appreciate any effort that you will make
on our behalf to rectify the hazardous situation which now
exists.
Tahnk you kindly.
I.
