MEMORANDUM
TO: Little Canada Planning Commission
FROM: Brad Nielsen
DATE: 26 January 1979
RE:
urban planning • design • market research
416 east hemepin avenue minneapolis
minnesota 55414 (612)379 -4600
Twin Lake Shores Addition - Preliminary Plat
Addendum to Staff Report of 24 January 1979
Since the Little Canada Development Framework /Policy Plan had not undergone
final review by the City Council at the time the above mentioned report was written,
the plat was not reviewed for consistency with the Comprehensive Plan. While
the final review of the Comprehensive Plan has been continued to the February
28 meeting, both the Planning Commission and City Council have agreed to the
recommendation for the planning district in which this project is located.
it is suggested that the Twin Lake Shores Addition be examined for consistency
with the Comprehensive Plan, paying particular attention to the Environmental
Policies on page 20 and the Natural Resources Plan (see Plan Revisions /Modifications
memo, 25 September 1978). These issues should be discussed at the Planning
Commission meeting on 1 February 1979.
cc: Mayor and City Council
Joseph Chlebeck
Clayton Parks
Larry Squires
Don Carley
Appl i ca nt
