My findings and recommendations are as follows:
1. Comprehensive Plan - In our agreement dated 21 September 1977, Item H
calls for a simple renewal of the agreement by the Council at the beginning
of each year. I would expect that a simple Council motion or resolution,
duly recorded, would suffice for the continuation of our present effort.
(Please note that there is also an amendment to the contract dated 7 December
1977.)
2. Tecnical
andh general s
assiasta assistance to the City snda dated review
22F February This requests
only calls for termination by either party upon thirty days written notice.
Again, I believe that a Council motion or resolution to the existing 22
February contract would be sufficient for extension of services.
Should you desire to follow a different procedure or have questions concerning our
service arrangements, please contact me accordingly.
Would you also please advise us if we are to be in attendance at the 10 January
Council meeting where these items will be discussed and resolved.
Very truly yours,
MIDWEST PLANNING AND RESEARCH, INC.
David R.
