In order to restore damaged relationships and to lay this matter to rest once and for <br />all, I request two reasonable actions by the Council: <br />1) A letter of apology to this family for the damage experienced as a result of <br />these erroneous charges. <br />2) Reimbursement for the legal costs of defending ourselves against these unfounded <br />charges. Legal costs amounted to $450. <br />These costs represent a very small portion of the actual costs experienced in anguish, <br />inconvenience, time spent and disruption of domestic tranquility in the defence <br />of our rights and good name in this matter. <br />I await your prompt action with respect to the listed requests. <br />Respectfully, <br />/ Niel Hamel <br />39 <br />
