PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />515 LITTLE CANADA ROAD <br />LITTLE CANADA. MINN. 55117 <br />Minutes of the regular meeting <br />Planning Commission - City of Little Canada <br />February 7, 1980 <br />The regular meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of Little <br />Canada was held on the 7th day of February, 1980 at 7:35 p.m. <br />515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />The following member were present: Joe Vitale Jr, Pete Costa, Gene <br />DeLonais, Frank Winiecki, and Virginia Fisher. <br />page 1 <br />The following members were absent: Dick Boss III, Ralph Nardini, Dennis <br />Forsberg, and Jack Radford. <br />The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as read. <br />P & R INVESTMENTS They wish to expand their building to the rear. <br />Dan O'Brien Their business is film making and want to expand <br />to keep present tenants. Stenger, the builder,was <br />to have a horse shoe drive in the front only, (no <br />parking in front), plus landscaping. He did not conform <br />to the plans the Planning Commission recommended. <br />The building is now 7000 sq. ft. and they plan to add <br />3000 sq. ft. more. They wish to put in more grass and <br />trees. 1 parking space.for every 200 sq. ft. is required. <br />A motion to table this plan until we get a more detailed <br />landscaping plan, eleminate the parking in front, and <br />look at the original- building plan ( #22 -52) was made <br />by Gene DeLonais. <br />Seconded by Joe Vitale. <br />Discussion -Vote- Motion carried 5 -0. <br />MINNEAPOLIS STAR Dan Swanson, representing Johnson Rice Street Complex - lessee. <br />& TRIBUNE The newspaper wish a metal building to store newspapers <br />in until the carriers pick them up for delivery. Its a <br />portable building with no footings. Motion to accept <br />was made providing the newspaper meets the codes of Little <br />Canada, and there be posts and curb to prevent cars from <br />hitting the building. Nine carriers are serviced by this <br />building. Motion made by Joe Vitale. <br />Seconded by Frank Winiecki. <br />Motion carried 5 -0. <br />BELAIR PIZZA SHOP The business has900 Sq.Ft., will be mostly take out orders, <br />Thomas Belair but does have seating for 12 persons. Hours are 11:00 to <br />11:00 except Friday and Sat. they will be open until 2:00. <br />1 <br />
