PAUL - RAMSEY COUNTY <br />JUSTICE ADVISORY BOARD <br />ARTICLE I <br />NAMES AND DEFINITIONS <br />DRAFT <br />Section 1 NAME <br />The name of this committee is the Justice Advisory Board herein <br />called the Advisory Board. <br />Section 2 BOARD OF RAMSEY COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />The Ramsey County Board of Commissioners is herein called County <br />Board. <br />Section 3 CITY OF ST. PAUL <br />The Mayor of St. Paul and the St. Paul City Council are herein <br />called the City of St. Paul. <br />Section 4 ST. PAUL /RAMSEY COUNTY CRIMINAL JUSTICE PLANNING DEPARTMENT <br />The St. Paul /Ramsey County Criminal Justice Planning Department <br />may be referred to herein as the Criminal Justice Planning <br />Department or the Department. <br />Section 5 STANDING COMMITTEES <br />Standing Committees of the Advisory Board shall be permanent <br />committees and are herein identified as: Executive Committee, <br />Juvenile Justice Committee, Adult Justice Committee, Law Enforce- <br />ment Committee, <br />Section 6 <br />Section 7 <br />Section 8 <br />Section 9 <br />Section 10 <br />AD HOC COMMITTEE /TASK FORCE <br />Ad hoc committees and task forces are any committees of the <br />Advisory Board appointed for a limited time and for specific <br />purposes. <br />COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS ACT <br />The Community Corrections Act (CC Act) means the Community Corrections <br />Act of 1973, as amended, Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 401, and as may <br />be amended. <br />RAMSEY COUNTY COMPREHENSIVE COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS PLAN <br />This document refers to the annual plan required by Section 401.02, <br />CC Act. <br />JUSTICE SYSTEM IMPROVEMENT ACT <br />The Justice System Improvement Act herein called the JSIA means <br />Public Law 96 -157 passed by the 96th Congress and signed into <br />law December 27, 1979 and subsequent amendments. <br />LAW ENFORCEMENT ASSISTANCE ADMINISTRATION APPLICATION <br />This document will set forth criminal justice programs covering a <br />3 -year period which meet the objectives of Section 401 of the JSIA <br />in a manner prescribed by federal guidelines. <br />E; <br />
