M E T R O P O L I T A N C O U N C I L <br />Suite 300 Metro Square Building, St. Paul, Minnesota 55101 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 80 -94 <br />RESOLUTION GRANTING EXTENSION OF TIME FOR <br />COMPREHENSIVE PLAN REVIEWS <br />WHEREAS, MSA 473.869 provides that local governmental units may <br />request extensions of time for fulfilling the require- <br />ments of Laws 1976, Chapter 127, Sections 1 to 23; and <br />WHEREAS, MSA 473.869 empowers the Metropolitan Council in its <br />discretion to grant such requests and to attach <br />reasonable requirements or conditions thereto; and <br />WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council has adopted a "Policy for <br />Extending Metropolitan Land Planning Act Submittal <br />Deadlines "; and <br />WHEREAS, the governmental units listed below have requested an <br />extension of the time for fulfilling the requirements of <br />Laws 1976, Chapter 127, Sections 1 to 23 in accordance <br />with the provisions of MSA 473.869 and the Metropolitan. <br />Council's "Policy for Extending Metropolitan Land <br />Planning Act Submittal Deadlines "; and <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: <br />1. THAT the Metropolitan Council finds that there are excep- <br />tional circumstances as evidenced by the extension <br />requests and an undue hardship may result if the requests <br />are not granted; and <br />2.
