Hanson
January 31, 2013
USAgain
1555 W. Hawthorne Lane, 4W
West Chicago, IL 60185
RE: Donation Bins
To Whom It May Concern:
A number of your donation bins have popped up at business locations within our city. These bins have
been a source of numerous code enforcement complaints. Typical complainant concerns are their
negative appearance with overflowing items, donations just left out alongside the container, and these
containers are out in the open and visible with no screening,
This letter shall serve as the official notice to USAgain that these containers are illegal outdoor storage
and have not been lawfully established under the clty ordinance. If USAgain wishes to seek the
appropriate zoning /land use approvals, I would strongly suggest arranging an appointment with the City
Planner to discuss further the logistics that would be required in that process. Otherwise, USAgain does
not have zoning approval for outdoor storage of these donation bins within Little Canada at any
location. As such, the City is ordering that all containers located within our city limits be removed by
February 28, 2013.
If you have any questions or if you would like to arrange a meeting with our City Planner, please contact
me at (651) 766 -4046 or iessica. iagoe@ci.little- canada.mn.us.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
Sinc;, ely
ment Officer
