Senator Rudy Boschwitz <br />Senator Dave Durenburger <br />Representative Bruce Vento <br />Dear <br />This letter is to request your assistance in obtaining the release of park grant funds <br />from the Land and Water Conservation Fund ( LAWCON). <br />The City of Little Canada is in the process of acquiring land for the development <br />of Gervais Mill Park. The acquisition of a key parcel of land for this proposed park <br />is scheduled to be partialy funded from a FY'87 appropriation from the Land and <br />Water Conservation Fund (LAWCON). <br />We understand that President Reagan has rescinded funding for this important program <br />and we are concerned about the effect that this will have on our Community and <br />specifically the Gervais Mill Park project. <br />The City of Little Canada urges you to support the reinstatement of funds for the <br />LAWCON program.
