I have stamped all applications but have not signed them except for one from Mr. Amaro. He used his previous application, whited out the date, and typed in the new date. His is the only application that has my signature on it and that application is the same one he previously submitted... The City Council will be reviewing these applications again at their meeting on May 13, 1987. The same question arises as to the legality of the Little Canada Charities Bingo Hall Association. You will notice in some applications there are lease agreements. Two applicants, St. Joseph's Society and Servants of Mary, submitted an unsigned lease between them and Robert Short. The other charities have a lease agreement between themselves and the Little Canada Charities Bingo Hall Association. It appears to be a trusteeship. Note Mugs Nardini's signature as a trustee. We are back to the same question of the legality of the Little Canada Charities Bingo Hall. I am requesting a response from you as soon as possible so the Council can act on these applications.
