July 7, 1987
Dear Mayor Fahey and Council Members,
Our organizations would like to express our sincere thanks
for your patience, understanding, and cooperation to reopen Little
Canada Bingo Hall.
We have implemented many changes from the previous management
structure.
Each charity has responsibility for their own sessions. This
includes collection of admission money and gambling proceeds. Each
charity has an internal control system of their own and is account-
able as an individual licensed organization.
Separate locked rooms are provided for each of the charities
supplies and records.
Every charity counts their own proceeds and pays their own
obligations.
Each charity has the choice and freedom to purchase from any
distributor in any amount they see fit. Those gambling devices
are not intermingled with those of other charities.
It is our hope to continue to cooperate with the city in every
way and keep the lines of communications open. If you have any
feedback from the community, please let us know.
Although Servants of Mary, Inc. and St. Joseph's Society, Inc..
are not responsible for the other charities activities, we are working
with them and desire the City Council to have immediate accounta-
bility from the hall, please feel free to call either of us at any
time regarding any question to do with Little Canada Bingo Hall.
Please feel free to visit the hall and we will give you a tour
of the inner workings.
R_"-- .ectful ours,
Sherman, Gambling Manager,
ry is of -ry, Inc,,
Lois B o berg, Gamb ing anager
St. Joseph's Society, nc.
cc: Roger Franke, Executive Secretary, Gambling Control Board
Bob Matson, Roseville Youth Association
Betty Strohbeen, Lake Owasso Residence
Volunteer Council rYa
JUL g 1B81
PAGE -1
CIYOF
L TLE CANADA
