MINUTES <br />Planning Commission <br />June 11, 1987 <br />Senty The Commission and the Senty's discussed whether the easement needed <br />Property to be taken from the north or south property line, and it was <br />Division decided that the City Engineer would have to make this determination. <br />(Cont.) <br />The Senty's asked if they would be reimbursed for the easement. <br />The Commission thought the easement would be a requirement of the <br />property division. <br />Mrs. Timmons recommended approval of the Senty property division <br />subject to the satisfactory location of the Alien Avenue dedication <br />by the City Engineer. <br />Motion seconded by Mr. Herkenhoff. <br />Motion carried 5 - 0. <br />Finkelson Mr. Finkelson submitted for approval the final plat for his property. <br />Final Plat <br />The City Planner reported that the final plat has not changed from <br />the preliminary plat which was previously approved by the Commission. <br />Mr. Davison recommended approval of the Finkelson final plat. <br />Motion seconded by Mrs. Timmons. <br />Motion carried 5 - 0. <br />Thunder <br />Bay 2nd <br />Addition <br />Final Plat <br />Mr. Frank Frattalone and Mr. Don Valento presented the final plat <br />of the Thunder Bay 2nd Addition for approval. <br />The City Planner reported that since tax increment financing is <br />being used for the purchase of the Wright property in conjunction <br />with this plat, the Council wants the road right -of -way through <br />to LaBore Road to be 50 feet wide. However, the developers are <br />proposing the road right -of -way adjacent to the Wright property <br />to be 40 feet wide with dedication of a 10 foot easement for snow <br />removal on the Wright property. <br />Valento was concerned that if the road right -of -way was 50 feet <br />adjacent to the Wright property, this would present problems as <br />the Wright property may not have enough front footage for a corner <br />lot. Valento pointed out that the road mat will be the standard <br />32 feet. <br />Timmons felt that this issue could be resolved at the Council level. <br />Frank Frattalone reported that they have resolved this with the City <br />Engineer. <br />Page 6 <br />
