PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE City Council of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota will <br />meet at the City Hall in Little Canada at 7:30 o'clock p.m. or as soon thereafter as <br />parties may be heard on June 24, 1987 to consider the adoption of the Thunder Bay <br />Development District and Tax Increment Financing Plan #1, in accordance with Minnesota <br />Statutes Chapter 472 and 273. <br />The proposed development area is a largely undeveloped area of approximately 10.6 acres north <br />of Labore Road and east of Payne Avenue. <br />The purpose of the Thunder Bay Development District Plan is to guide and promote the resi- <br />dential development of the project area. <br />The project area is potentially more useful and valuable than has been realized under the <br />existing development. The Tax Increment Financing Plan explains the City's intention to ac- <br />quire one substandard property and sell the parcel for residential redevelopment, which will <br />also allow the alignment of a proposed access road to safe and consistent City standards. <br />Copies of the Thunder Bay Development District Plan and Tax Increment Financing Plan #1 are <br />on file with the City of Little Canada City Clerk and are available to the public at 515 <br />Little Canada Road, Little Canada, Minnesota, 55117 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 <br />p.m. Monday through Friday. <br />The purpose of the Public Hearing is to obtain citizen views and input in the creation and <br />adoption of the Thunder Bay Development District Plan and Tax Increment Financing Plan #1. <br />Such persons as desire to be heard with reference to the proposed development plan and tax <br />increment financing plan will be heard at this meeting.
