June 1, 1987
Dear Sir or Madam:
,-,,_ T zr..r r
\ ,. st'4x J
SmaLl
We are all aware of the approaching Comparable worth compliance
deadline of August 1, 1987. The significance of this date is not
so much what we know about it as what we don't know about it. If
you are uncertain as to what you should be doing in the interim,
perhaps we can help you.
DCA Stanton has helped many communities, schools and agencies in
the state in developing pay policies which are compatible with the
State's comparable worth law. We have found that job evaluation
and market pricing, important though they are, are only the
beginning of the process and are perhaps the easiest part. Of
equal or greater importance are the policy decisions and
administrative procedures required to implement the comparable
worth concept in a useful and acceptable manner.
If you would like to learn more of our approach, please call us.
Also, stop by our booth at the 1987 League of Minnesota Cities
Annual Conference in Rochester. We'll show you how the DCA Stanton
approach has helped others.
Yours truly,
Edward E. Wells, Principal Consultant
DCA Stanton Group
EEW:sj
u.ni
JUN 3 1987
CITY OF
LITTLE CANADA
Page 22
