Cardboard: flattened and placed in paper bags or tied in bundles no <br />larger than three feet in length, width, or depth. <br />C5. Containers in which recyclable materials have been stored shall be <br />placed on the curbside in front of the residents' property by 7:00 <br />a.m. on the scheduled day of collection. <br />C6. All recyclable materials placed for collection shall be owned by and <br />be the responsibility of the occupants of residential properties <br />until they are handled by the Contractor. Upon collection of the <br />containers and recyclable materials by the Contractor, the recyclable <br />materials become the property and responsibility of the Contractor. <br />C7. Recyclable materials deemed unacceptable by the Contractor according <br />to the preparation procedures in subsection C4 shall be collected on <br />the first occurrence by the Contractor. Each time materials are <br />incorrectly prepared the Contractor shall leave at the residence <br />written notice forms, which are provided by the City, which explain <br />why materials were not collected. The address and the reason why <br />materials were not collected shall be reported to the City the <br />following day so that the City can notify the resident of the proper <br />procedure. Subsequent instances of unacceptable recyclable materials <br />may be rejected; however, this shall be reported to the City. <br />C8. The Contractor shall not landfill, incinerate or make fuel pellets <br />out of the recyclable materials. <br />C9. The Contractor's employees shall leave for the residents' reuse any <br />containers marked SAVE. These containers, once emptied, shall be <br />returned to the curbside. Any spills will be cleaned up immediately. <br />D. Ilgh16b_e <br />Dl. The Contractor's vehicles shall be marked with the name and phone <br />number of the Contractor. <br />D2. The Contractor shall maintain all trucks and equipment in good <br />working condition. The Contractor's trucks shall be clean and <br />aesthetically pleasing. <br />4. TERM <br />The term of this Agreement shall be from July 1, 1987 to June 30, <br />1988. <br />5. CANCELLATION <br />Either party may cancel this agreement at any time upon thirty (30) <br />days written notice to the other party. In such event of <br />termination, the Contractor shall be entitled to reimbursement for <br />those expenses incurred up to the termination date provided the <br />expenses have been incurred by providing the services in Section 3. <br />Page 3 <br />
