Saiko: <br />500 West Highway 96 <br />St. Paul, Minnesota 55112 <br />484 -3301 <br />Aug. 24, 1987 <br />RE: Demont Ave. Construction <br />Your letter of August 4, 1987 regarding the temporary easement was <br />referred to us as City Engineer for a reply. Our reply to your <br />questions are as follows: <br />1. The completion date of the project is October 1, 19 -88. <br />However, we fully expect that the bulk of th.e work will be <br />completed this- year. That is that the storm sewer, curb <br />& gutter, gravel base and one layer of bituminous will be <br />in place before winter. <br />2. Your driveway will be temporarily blocked from use during <br />certain phases of construction such as storm sewer, curbing, etc. <br />3. As stated above, there will be times when the driveway cannot <br />be used. <br />4. The property will he restored. The sod will be replaced. The <br />property will be levelled and graded so as to drain into th.e <br />street. <br />This is the main purpose of th.e easement. <br />5. The driveway will be restored to. its present condition. <br />6. The sewer service should not be affected by the small amount of <br />grading work to be done because of its depth and the fact that <br />it has served for many years. <br />However, if it is damaged from construction it will be repaired <br />by the City. <br />Yours truly, <br />MIL R W.
