Personnel
twin cities, inc.
11 West 10th Street • Saint Paul, Minnesota 55102 • (612) 291 -2828
September 22, 1987
CITY OF LITTLE CANADA
Attn: Joe Chleback
515 Little Canada Road
Little Canada, Minnesota
Dear Joe:
BRANCH OFFICES
Minneapolis • (612) 721 -1223
Columbia Heights • (612) 781 -5000
SEP 22 1987
CITY OF
LITTLE CANADA
Per our discussion before Cheryl Gorsuch began working with the
City of Little Canada, we had discussed the rates inwhich the
City of Little Canada would be charged. Her position at that
time would be to mainly assist in typing, accurately and answer
phones as well as greet the individuals who come into the City
Hall and assist them in the direction of those who could help
them.
Cherly has been working with the City of Little Canada since 8/7/87
and has come to do more than most temporaries in this position.
To date her responsibilities have increased to the following:
Receptionist, phones, greeting of individuals, filling out permits,
licences and contracts, typing, filing, copying, daily reports,
scheduling of inspections, radio, redoing of a complete filing
system for the public works department, bulk mailing, recycling,
assessments, arranging meters for N.S.P., handling petty cash,
Assisting with agendas on council days, making up folders for
the council members and Mayor, assisting with receipt writings
and working with parking permits plus more.
I feel that Cheryl has been an asset to the City in numerous ways
and per earlier discussions, she feels very comfortable with every
one within the City, and enjoys her work thoroughly. I feel that
the efforts that she has portrayed can only prove to be a plus
for the City.
When Cheryl first started with the City, she began at the pay
rate of $5.50 per hour and we were billing the City $8.35 per hour,
with the condition that if she proves her abilities, she would re-
ceive an increase after thirty days or on 9/7/87. Cheryl has
been with the City for over that time span, and at this time I
only feel that it would be fair to give her an increase of .50 per hour
of which the City rate would then become $9.25 per hour.
Please notify me in regards to this approval as soon as possible.
Respectfully,
Connie Hannegan
Administrator Page 25
P.S. Also would like to know the possibility of Cheryl being hired by
the City of Little Canada.
