mETROPOLITA(1 WAJTE comrnillion August 21, 1987 At:. , Trace McDermott • Williams Pipe Line Company Apache Office Park Suite 246 2500 39th Avenue Northeast St. Anthony, MN RE: Discharge Approval Viking Drive Pumpout, Little Canada Mr. McDermott: The Metropolitan Waste Control Commission (MWCC) hereby grants approval for the discharge to the Metropolitan Disposal System (MDS) of contaminated groundwater. The groundwater is to be generated from the site of a former pipeline leak in Little Canada, near 435 Viking Drive. The approval is conditional based on the following: 1. The discharge approval shall commence October 1, 1987 and shall continue to December 31, 1988. If the discharge is to continue beyond that date another letter must be submitted to the MWCC requesting such approval. 2. Approval for pumping rate and sewer discharge point shall be obtained from the City of Little Canada. 3, The discharge shall be metered. Discharge volumes shall be reported to the MWCC and the City of Little Canada, at minimum, on a quarterly basis. Sewer billing arrangements shall be made with the City of Little Canada. 4. At no time shall the LEL (lower explosive limit) of the discharge be greater than 10 %.
