zzz. <br />TERM OF AGREEMENT /TERMINATION <br />1. This Agreement shall commence January 1, 1988, and shall <br />be in effect until December 31, 1988. <br />2. Either party may terminate this Agreement upon ninety <br />(90) days' written notice to the other party. <br />3. If the COUNTY obtains automobile, general liability, <br />workers' compensation or professional liability insurance <br />pursuant to Section II, paragraph 5, and the COUNTY thereafter <br />receives notice of cancellation, of non - renewal of insurance or <br />of a material change to coverage, the COUNTY may terminate this <br />Agreement upon 30 days' written notice to the MUNICIPALITY. <br />4. Notice to the COUNTY shall be given to the COUNTY <br />Executive Director and Notice to the MUNICIPALITY shall be given <br />to the Chief Executive Officer. <br />IV. <br />PAYMENT <br />1. The MUNICIPALITY agrees to pay the COUNTY the actual <br />cost of providing all services covered by this Agreement. <br />Actual cost shall mean the MUNICIPALITY'S pro rata share of the <br />COUNTY'S total cost of providing patrol and police protection <br />services to the MUNICIPALITIES with which the COUNTY has <br />Agreements for 1988, including, but not limited to the <br />following: salaries of employees engaged in performing said <br />services, including vacation and sick leave; mileage; uniforms; <br />public employees retirement contributions; workers' <br />compensation, automobile, general liability and police <br />5 <br />Page 21 <br />
