Jim Jorgenson gave me the details and the price for a Cheney
HEP -72 including installation will be $10,270 plus $532.20 sales tax making
a total of $10,802.20.
In order to meet code this must have a full enclosure, key - operated call and
send control, emergency alarm and bell, third safety which is an overspeed
brake with manual lowering device, and a sign which reads "For use by handicapped
persons only ". This price includes all these safety devices.
I am enclosing an invoice which requires that you send us a signed yellow
and pink sheet accompanied by your check for 503'0 of this amount in order for
the lift to be ordered and built. You keep the white copy for your records.
The balance will be due at time of installation. Once 31t is ordered the lift
will require six weeks before delivery. We will be responsible for all wiring
of the lift but you must bring 110 power to the lift site with a junction box
with fuse disconnect. Once the lift is installed we must have an inspection by
the State Inspector. We will take responsibility for this arrangement. This
is the most inexpensive model we can quote you that will moot Minnesota Code.
Sincerely,
Judd Jacobson
Page 70
Sales and service of elevators • lilts • stair -rides • van lilts
143 West Bridge • P.O.
