IR 035E - 4(189) <br />Estimated Amount Receivable: <br />City of Little Canada $52,180.00 <br />THIS AGREEMENT, by and between the City of Little Canada, Minnesota, a <br />municipal corporation, hereinafter referred to as the "City," and Ramsey County, a <br />political subdivision of the State of Minnesota, hereinafter referred to as the "County"; <br />WITNESSETH: <br />WHEREAS, the State is about to award a contract for grading, surfacing, bridge, <br />traffic signal, ramp metering and street lighting construction and other associated <br />construction work to be performed at T.H. 35E - County State Aid Highway 21 (Little <br />Canada Road) interchange in accordance with state plans, specifications and special <br />provisions therefor designated as State Projects 6280 -233 (T.H. 35E =390), 6280 -246 (T.H. <br />35E =390) and 6280 -62896 (T.H. 35E =390) and State Aid Projects 62- 621 -03, 62- 621 -04, <br />200 -020-01 and 200- 103 -01 and in the records of the Federal Highway Administration <br />as Minnesota Project IR 035E - 4(189); and <br />WFIEREAS, the construction to be performed upon, along and adjacent to those <br />portions of County State Aid Highway 21 (Little Canada Road) and County Road 139 <br />(Centerville Road) which are easterly of County State Aid Highway 21 (Little Canada <br />Road) Engineering Station 13 +75 (a point approximately 125 feet east of the T.H. 35E <br />northbound exit and entrance ramps) under state contract is over and above that <br />construction which is necessary to improve said interchange; and <br />WHEREAS, under said state contract the widening construction of T.H. 35E <br />Bridge 62896 at said interchange is to include 2 -12 foot driving lanes to accommodate <br />additional County State Aid Highway 21 (Little Canada Road) through traffic; and <br />WHEREAS, the City requested the construction of concrete walk to be performed <br />along the south side of the County State Aid FIighway 21 (Little Canada Road) west <br />approach to T.H. 35E be included in said state contract; and <br />WHEREAS, the County has expressed its willingness to participate in the costs <br />of the construction to be performed east of County State Aid Highway 21 (Little <br />Canada Road) Engineer Station 13 +75. <br />WHEREAS, in connection with said state contract, the construction to be <br />Page 91 <br />87022 <br />Page 1 of 9 <br />
