Office of:
JOSEPH G. CHLEBECK, Clerk
515 Little Canada Road
tittle Canada, Minn. 55117
484 -2177
CITY OF LITTLE CANADA
RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA
November 4, 1981
To: Council members and members of the Planning Commission
Subject: Appointment of a Building Inspector
Review of the Little Canada Zoning Ordinance
MAYOR
Raymond Hanson
COUNCIL
Michael Fahey
Boverly Scalzi
Dennis Forsberg
Mugs Nardinl
As all of you know, the City of Little Canada is seeking
a Building Inspector. The Building Inspector is governed
by the Zoning Ordinance. The present Zoning Ordinance is
complex as we are well aware.
The purpose of this notice is to ask each of you to review
the Zoning Ordinance. In your review, apply the ordinance
to your own personal position, your own property and that of
your neighbors and see by comparison if the ordinance is
really what we want to be guided by. Many of our own prop-
erties would not qualify and be in conformance.
In particular, please review 903.020, F., Fences - General
Requirements, 903.050, Off Street Parking Requirements,
D General Provisions, 8, f.,g.,i.,j., F. Location 6.
I feel that this Ordinance can be streamlined a great deal,
do the job we want it to do, uncomplicate matters for a
Building Inspector and eliminate future problems of what
would appear to be discriminatory in enforcement.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Sincerely,
:caya
