Nov. 18, 1981
To the L:ambers of the City _ounci.l,
We are mo'.,11e home owner, at Piorth Star Estates Les mho ; re
objecting to the proposed sight for a new street into the park.
The owner at 119 Big Circle Dr. (who is a widow and
handicapped), has recieved notice her trailer is to be moved
out for this proposed street. Site feels her rights to Taro. in
at her present location are being infringed upon. Will also
cause her undue hardship and anguish to be moved out of her
_present location.
The plans when she moved here, 6' years ago did not show
a street going through her lot. The plans, which are enclosed,
show streets in the corners.
The owner at 117 Big Circle Dr. is protesting because
the street will come too close to their home and will make
their back door very vulnerable to burglary and vandalism.
The proposed street is also in direct line with a road that
has been made (un over the curb of S. Owasso St)by four wheel
drive vehicles, dirt bikes, dune buggeys, (snowmobiles in
the winter tine) which leads to a sand pit where the police
have busted up beer parties, etc. We have seen up to 50 cars
chased out o: there numerous times. We feel a street into the
park is thin location will make t\.e trailer park r.. race track
for these vehicles.
Some of the other neighbors are fearful the parking
np:. ce for their cars will be jeopardized.
The caretakers are not in favor of another street that is
open constantly. They suggest it be fences off with a. gate
that is kept locked and only opened in ease of story. warnings
or other emergencies.
Some of us have been here quite a. few years and have
never had a problem getting out of the pork during a. storm.
This only happens when people panic and leave their cars narked
in the middle of the street. Another street will not allevi-
ate this.
I am withdrawing my name from the !Nov. 25th agenda.
It happens to be the. night before Thanksgiving and makes it
too difficult for people to attend. Am hoping this letter
will serve as a form of protest and hose the council will
reconsider the proposed street
t
Here are some signatures of neighbors who are objecting
to the proposed street.
C GGrr
J
/Cc
LGGi9
i/y(tthyidzi.
•
( /, //(J V
1/21 X
AgITTI
NOV 20 1981
CITY OF
LITTLE CANADA
(lb
