LITTLE CANADA PARK COMMISSION MEETING
NOVEMBER 14, 1981
Attended: Carl Spooner, Bill Sanders, Bev Scalze, Lois Runyon, Elaine
Zoch, Jim Moreland, Dan Drake
After meeting at the property site off Greenbrier and County Road D
for future park development we returned to the City Center for discussion.
Bill BAnders had made a drawing of a possible park development plan
for this piece of property as shown on Plan C of future land developement.
After much discussion it was decided that we would need about 350 feet
instead of 330 feet as shown on Plan C.
The following is a recommendation made by the members of the Park
Commission to the City Council:
The recommendation of the Park Commission to the City Council is that we
request all the property under the NSP powerline easement from Payne Ave.
to Greenbrier now owned privately in addition to 130 ft x 400 ft. as per
Plan C (drawing included) for open spaces for future use as park land,so
that the 10o park fees would be in land not in park fees.
Bev Scalze reported that she had talked to Mr. Turnquist and he stated
that he wanted his son to look over the property and he will call us with
his intentions.
The next meeting will be December 17, 1981 7:30 at the City Center.
61
