CITY OF LITTLE CANADA
RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA
Office of:
JOSEPH G. CHLEBECK, Clerk
515 Little Canada Road
Little Canada, Minn. 55117
484 -2177
Sept. 18, 1981
Mr. Robert DeBace
81 Bryan Ave.
Little Canada, Mn 55117
Dear Mr. DeBace,
MAYOR
Raymond Hanson
COUNCIL- -
Michael Fahey
Beverly Scalzā€¢
Dennis Forsberg
Mugs Nordin]
At the council meeting of 9 -9 -81, the city reviewed your application
for a building permit for a garage, it was the conclusion of the City
Council that you will have to apply for a Conditional Use Permit.
It is unfortunate that the Building Inspector approved your permit
without reviewing the new zoning code. According to the new code,
any accessory building used for a second garage, requires a Conditional
Use Permit. The following procedures are required:
1. Apply for a Conditional Use Permit.
2. Submit a list of property owners within 350 ft. of your property.
The list must be a certificate of ownership prepared by'any
abstract company.
3. There is a fee of $100.00.
As soon as you have completed the above instructions, a hearing date
will be set, and in the event you should fail to comply with these
instructions, the matter will be turned over to the attorney for
further action.
I did receive your letter explaining the future use of the vacated
garage (the letter will be reviewed at the Sept. 23, council meeting).
Again, I state, it is unfortunate that you have been caught up in
the middle of a zoning change, and if you have any questions, please
feel free to call me.
Yours Sincerely,
seph G. Chlebeck
Clerk
JGC :qb
