PLANNING COMMISSION
CITY OF LITTLE CANADA
515 LITTLE CANADA ROAD
LITTLE CANADA. MINN. 55117
Minutes of Regular Meeting - Planning Commission
October 1, 1981
The regular meeting of the
Canada was held on the 1st
515 Little Canada Road, in
The following members were
Timmons, Roy French, LeRoy
Planning Commission of the City of Little
day of October, 1981, at 7:35 p.m.,at
said city.
present: Peter Costa, Eugene DeLonais, Sharon
LeMay, Jim Steele, & Joe Vitale.
also present: Brad Nielsen,
Northwest Consultants,
Minutes of the previous meeting
Joe Vitale did not vote on
on Sept. 17, were corrected as follows:
Peppinos issue - Motion approved 7 -0.
Minutes of special meeting approved as read.
REVIEW OF HOLZSCHUH
FINAL PLAT
Mr. Richard Holzschuh asked whether or not they needed final
plat approval from the Planning Commission. Brad Nielsen
told him that it would only be informational to present
it to the Planning Commission.
RICHARD BECKER SIGN APPEAL -
LORRAINE ROSAUER
SUB- DIVISION
Lorraine Rosauer appeared requesting a sub - division of
property left in her Mothers estate. They want to keep
the back portion in the family and sell off 2 lots along
LaBore. The Planner had understood that they wanted to
split the lot into two, instead of three lots. Brad
stated that at the building line (30' setback from road)
each of the proposed front lots would be approximately
3' short of the required 75' frontage. The Planner also
suggested that the rear lot line be straightened out.
Mrs. Rosauer said they wanted to keep the lot line along
the existing trees.
The Planner suggested that the Rosauer's make the back
portion of the land a part of their daughters land next
door. There would not be a problem then with the city
creating a lot that did not have access to a city street.
The Rosauer's seemed agreeable to this.
Motion made that the lot in question be allowed to be split
into 2 lots with the dividing lot line straightened out
and that the westernly portion be legally defined as
belonging to the parcel on the south and that the northern
most 20' be legally joined to the parcel to the north,
made by Sharon Timmons.
Seconded by Roy French.
Motion carried 7 -0.
