PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF LITTLE CANADA 515 LITTLE CANADA ROAD LITTLE CANADA. MINN. 55117 Minutes of Special Meeting Planning Commission - City of Little Canada September 17,1981 This Special meeting was called to hear suggestions from property owners and the City Planner Consultant,on the property bounded by Co. Rd. D on the North, Payne Ave on the West, LaBore Rd. on the South, and Greenbrier St.on the East, and Sub Division 43. The following members were present: Gene DeLonais, James Steele, Roy French, Tom Ducharme, Joe Vitale and LeRoy LeMay. also present, Brad. Nielsen, Northwest Assoc. Consultants, and Don Carley, City Engineer. Gene DeLonais opened meeting and turned it over to Brad Nielsen. Brad Nielsen presented 3 plans, Plan A, B and C. Discussed possible advantages and disadvantages of all Plans on how best to develope area. Mr. DeLonais then asked for objections to all plans from the floor. Mrs. Wright voiced objection on the road proposal being so close to her home that is 100 years old. Her objection was noted. Several land owners in the area suggested a fast solution so they could develope the area. Mr. Carley brought up a point on possible property line problems in area and said that he had conferred with Brad Nielsen on this. Suggested that a outside survey be taken to correct problem. The chair asked for a motion on acceptance of a Plan for area. Mr. Vitale made a motion to accept Plan A, with the modifications as follows: Allen Ave. to join Payne Ave to prosed St. number 1, no name yet, 1st street east side of development area. That street called number 1, have a cul-de -sac on south end to handle Mrs. Wrights problem. That street,,l, 2, and 3, be joined on south approximate 500 feet north of cul-de -sac. (see attached map) Seconded by LeRoy LeMay. Motion passed 6 -0.
