AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA AND THE COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />THIS AGREEMENT, by and between the City of Little Canada, Minnesota, <br />a municipal corporation, hereinafter referred to as the "City," and the <br />County of Ramsey, a political subdivision of the State of Minnesota, <br />hereinafter referred to as the "County "; <br />WITNESSETH: <br />WHEREAS, County Road C (CSAH 23) between Rice Street (TH 49) and <br />Interstate 35E was reconstructed to an urban section by the County with <br />storm sewer including trunk lines with catch basins and leads designed <br />to accommodate the roadway construction and approved by the City of <br />Little Canada for future development; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Little Canada is proposing to construct a trunk <br />line storm sewer system along Park Avenue that connects to the County <br />Road C storm sewer system; and <br />WHEREAS, the drainage policy established by the County Board with <br />municipalities is to direct ownership of the storm sewer trunk line to <br />the municipality for the control of future development and the County to <br />own and maintain existing catch basins and leads entering this system; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, it is mutually desirable to transfer ownership of the trunk <br />line storm sewer system to the City provided the County continue owner- <br />ship and maintenance of the catch basins and leads entering the system. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS MUTUALLY AGREED AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The City will accept the ownership and maintenance of the trunk <br />line storm sewer system along County Road C from Rice Street to I -35E as <br />shown on the "as built" construction plans, projects S.A.P. 62- 623 -09 <br />and S.A.P. 62- 621 -01, and shall be identified lying between the following <br />2P <br />
