MINUTES CITY COUNCIL JULY 26, 2006 The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. AMENDMENTS Given that Mr. Lee Rossow was not present at this evening's meeting, the TO CUP'S - City Administrator recommended that the Public Hearing to consider 194/196, Amendments to Conditional Use Permits for open and outdoor storage for 3164, AND 3175 194/196, 3164, and 3175 Ryan Lane be continued to the August 23, 2006 RYAN LANE - Council meeting provided that Mr. Rossow signs a 60-day waiver LEE ROSSOW agreement. The Administrator recommended that if Mr. Rossow does not sign the waiver, then the Amendments to CUP's would be denied based on the fact that the site plans are too vague to allow proper monitoring and enforcement. Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2006-7-I69 -CONTINUING THE LEE ROSSOW REQUEST FOR AMENDMENTS TO CUP'S FOR OPENAND OUTDOOR STORAGE FOR 194/196, 3164, AND 3175 RYAN LANE UNTIL THE AUGUST 23, 2006 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING PROVIDED THAT MR. ROSSOW SIGNS A 60-DAY WAIVER AGREEMENT, AND SHOULD MR. ROSSOW NOT SIGN THE 60- DAYWAIVER, THE AMENDMENTS TO CONDITIONAL USE PERMITS FOR OPENAND OUTDOOR STORAGE FOR 194/196, 3164, 3175 RYAN LANE ARE HEREBY DENIED GIVEN THAT THE SITE PLANS SUBMITTED ARE TOO VAGUE TO ALLOW FOR PROPER MONITORING AND ENFORCEMENT The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Allan. Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. AMENDMENT Mayor Blesencr noted that the Planning Commission tabled action on TO ZONING a proposed Amendment to the Zoning Code relative to fence permits CODE - and driveway standards to their August meeting. Therefore, this matter FENCE should be tabled to the August 23rd City Council meeting. PERMITS AND Keis questioned the need to require currently unpaved driveway to be DRIVEWAY paved. Blesener noted that the recommendation is that unpaved STANDARDS driveways would be grandfathered in until there is a major remodeling project proposed for the property. At that time the requirement to pave the driveway would be imposed.
