ORDINANCE NO. 96 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE LITTLE CANADA CODE, SECTION 703.080. OPERATION HOURS. BY DELETING PARAGRAPH THREE WHICH PROHIBITED SALES ON ELEC- TION DAY AND MEMORIAL DAY, ALSO BY PERMITTING "ON SALE" SUNDAY SALES. THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF LITTLE CANADA DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the Municipal Code of Little Canada, Section 703.080. OPERATION HOURS. be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: "703.080. OPERATION HOURS. No "on sale" sale of liquor shall be made on Monday before eight o'clock a.m., and no such "on sale" sale shall be made on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday between the hours of one o'clock a.m. and eight o'clock a.m., and on Sunday no such "on sale" sale shall be made between the hours of one o'clock a.m. and twelve o'clock new, nor shall such "on sale" sale be made at any time on Christmas Day. No "off sale" sale of such liquor shall be made before eight o'clock a.in. or after eight o'clock p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday, and be- fore the hour of eight o'clock a.m. or after the hours of ten o'clock p.m. on Satur- day, and no such "off sale" sales of liquor shall be made at any time on Sunday. No "off sale" shall be made on New Years Day, January 1; Memorial Day, May 30; Inde- pendence Day, July 4; Thanksgiving Day; or Christmas Day, December 25; but on the evenings preceding such days, notwithstanding the above provisions, off sales may be made until ten o'clock p.m. except that no off -sale shall be made on December 24 after eight o'clock p.m. No "on sale" licensee shall permit any person to consume any liquor on his premises except within the hours when the sale of such liquor is permitted."
