Fences - General Requirements. 1 • Permit Required. No person, firm or corporation shall construct or erect any fence without first securing a building permit. 2. Locations. All Fences shall be located entirely upon the property of the fence owner unless the owner of the adjoining property agrees, in writing, that such fence may be erected on the property line of the respective properties. 3. Surveys. The City Building Officialjna require an applicant for a fence permit to establish his true boundary line by a survey thereof to be mode by a Registered Land Surveyor. 5. No permit shall be issued for the construction of more than one (1) private garage structure for each detached single family dwelling, except on the approval of a conditional use permit according to the provisions of Section 921 of this Ordinance. Every detached single family dwelling unit erected after the effective date of this Ordinance shall be so located on the lot so that at least a two (2) car garage, either attached or detached, can be located on said lot. 6. Outdoor swimming pools with a capacity of fifteen hundred (1,500) gallons or with a depth of three (3) Feet or more of water shall be fenced in compliance with F., 6. of this Section. 4. Construction and Maintenance. Every fence shall be constructed in a substantial, workmanlike manner and of material reasonably suited for the purpose for which the fence is proposed to be used. Every fence shall be maintained in such condition as to not become a hazard, eyesore or public or private nuisance.
