MINUTES <br />City Council <br />September 8, 1980 <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 80 -9 -333 - ADOPTING AND APPROVING THE ASSESSMENT <br />ROLL FOR IMPROVEMENT NO. 78 -18, AUDITORS IMPROVEMENT NO. 78 -6, <br />AUD. NO. 1809, D/P NO. 1809 WITH THE DELETION OF THE ASSESSMENT <br />FOR PARCEL #53- 00500- 100 -38 WHICH WAS INCLUDED IN ERROR AND <br />WITH THE DEFERRAL OF THE ASSESSMENT FOR PARCELS #53- 03700 - 150 -13, <br />1/53- 03700 - 130 -13, 1/53- 03700 - 010 -13, 1/53- 03700 - 030 -13, 1/53- 03700 - 470 -13, <br />1/53- 03700 - 460 -13, 1/53- 03700 - 450 -13, 1/53- 03700- 420 -13, 1/53- 03700 - 200 -13, <br />AND #53- 03700 - 140 -13 WITH THE CONDITION THAT THE DEFERRAL OF THE <br />ASSESSMENT FOR THE KUSH, LANE, MASSIE AND KRUEGER PROPERTIES <br />IS SUBJECT TO THE CONDITION THAT THERE PRESENTLY IS A WATERMAIN <br />BUT NO WATER STUBS IN FRONT OF THESE PROPERTIES AND THAT THE <br />WATER STUBS WILL NOT BE INSTALLED UNTIL SUCH TIME AS THE WATERMAIN <br />IS INSTALLED NORTHWARDS FROM WESTWINDS TO COUNTY ROAD D OR THAT <br />THE CITY FINDS IT FEASIBLE AND PRACTICAL TO INCLUDE THE INSTALLATION <br />OF THESE STUBS IN ANOTHER CITY WATER PROJECT AND AT THE TIME <br />THE STUBS ARE INSTALLED THEY WILL BE INSTALLED AT CITY COST, HOWEVER, <br />IF THESE PROPERTY OWNERS WISH CITY WATER BEFORE THAT TIME, THESE <br />STUBS WILL HAVE TO BE INSTALLED AT THE PROPERTY OWNERS EXPENSE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Nadeau. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Nadeau, Hanson, Scalze, DeBace. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Pages 216 and 217. <br />Dave Mr. Dave Frattalone appeared before the Council and asked the Council <br />Frattalone the status of the proposed assessment against his property. Mr. Frattalone <br />Assessment was informed that the assessment was levied against his property. However, <br />there was discussion about the agreement the City was to have made with <br />Mr. Frattalone to defer these assessments. The Engineer and the Attorney <br />will be checking their records to determine if such an agreement was made. <br />If such an agreement is found, the assessments will be deferred. <br />Mr. Mike Frattalone appeared before the Council. Mr. Frattalone stated <br />that he thinks he has been assessed twice for sewer on Allen and Desoto <br />Streets. <br />The Engineer stated that he will check this out and get back to Mr. <br />Frattalone. <br />Public <br />Hearing <br />Improvement <br />No. 78 -12 <br />Improvement No. 78 -12 is the improvement by watermain of Brooks and <br />Arkwright. <br />There was no one present objecting to the assessments for Improvement <br />No. 78 -12. <br />01 <br />Page -9- <br />
