920. "P ", PUBLIC/SEMIPUBLIC DISTRICT <br />920.010. PURPOSE. The purpose of the "P ", Public /Semipublic District is to ensure City control over those <br />lands now used publicly or semipublicly, by establishing City review procedures in the event of change in land use <br />or activity. <br />920.020. PERMITTED USES. <br />A. Public regulated utility buildings and structures necessary for the health, safety and general welfare of <br />the conrnunity. <br />Parks. <br />C. Public or semipublic recreational buildings and neighborhood or community centers; public and private <br />educational institutions limited to elementary, junior high ord senior high schools; and religious <br />institutions such as churches, chapels, temples and synagogues. <br />D. Cemeteries. <br />920.030. PERMITTED ACCESSORY USES. <br />A. Operation and storage of such vehicles, equipment and machinery which are incidental to permitted <br />or conditional uses allowed in this district. <br />B. Living quarters of persons employed on the premises. <br />C. Recreational vehicles and equipment. <br />D. Non - commercial greenhouses and conservatories. <br />E. Swimming pool, tennis courts and other recreational facilities. <br />F. Tool houses, sheds and similar buildings for storage of domestic supplies and non - commercial recreational <br />equipment. <br />G. Private garoges, parking spaces and car ports For licensed and operable passenger cars and trucks. <br />920.040. CONDITIONAL USES. (Requires o conditional use permit based upon procedures set forth in <br />and regulated by Section 921 of this Ordinance.) <br />A. Day core - group nursery, provided that: <br />1. No overnight facilities are provided for the children served. Children are delivered and removed <br />daily. <br />2. Adequate off - street parking and access is provided in compliance with Section 903.050 of this <br />Ordihnunce. <br />3. The site and related parking and service shall be served by an arterial or collector street of <br />sufficient capacity to accommodate the traffic which will be generated. <br />4. All signing and informational or visual communication devices shall be in compliance with <br />Section 903.110 of this Ordinance. <br />5. The provisions of Section 921 .010, E of this Ordinance are considered and satisfactorily met. <br />
