For District Use: Ramsey-Washington Metro Watershed District PERMIT Permission is granted to do the work proposed in application number 162 (attached) in accordance with the Rules and Regulations and Overall Plan of the District; subject to the following special provisions: I. Construction shall be in accordance with the plans submitted to the District as of September 4, 1980. 2. Grading operations shall be accomplished in a manner which minimizes potential for erosion and sedimentation using dikes, check dams or temporary ponding areas consisting of anchored hay bales or approved material. Before grading operations commence, the erosion and sediment control facilities must be constructed. The District's Engineer must be notified upon completion of construction of these erosion and sediment control facilities for his inspection. Grading operations may commence after the Engineer approves these facilities. 3. Permittees shall maintain erosion and sediment . facilities until restoration is completed and established. Restoration of disturbed areas shall be completed as soon as possible. Where on -going construction makes immediate restoration impossible, anchored hay bales or other approved erosion control facilities shall be used to minimize sediment from leaving the construction area. A ring of hay bales shall be installed and maintained around all catch basins until the area tributary to the catch basins is restored. 4. Waste material shall not be deposited in any wetland or pothole within the District without written approval to do so being first obtained from the District. This permit does not grant authority for such disposal. 5. For any fill deposited between Elevations 859.0 and 863.6 a compensating volume equalling the amount of fill must be excavated between Elevations 859.0 and 863.6 from some other area so that there is no net filling within the floodplain. 6. Upon completion of the project and the disturbed area restored, the permittee must notify the District's engineering advisor (either Dennis Palmer or Steven Klein at 920 - 0655). 7. Any disturbed area which is not to be developed immediately must be seeded and disc mulched within 10 to 14 days after being disturbed. The Board reserves the right to review and revise these special provisions as circumstances may require. This permit may be suspended for failure to comply with the above specified provisions.
