1981 through December 31, 1981. The contract shall be automatically <br />renewed on the same terms and conditions contained herein unless <br />either party gives 30 days notice to terminate this contract or <br />renegotiate any portion thereof 30 days prior to December 31, 1981. <br />ARTICLE 3 <br />PAYMENT <br />3.1) The City agrees to pay to the Fire Department for its <br />services during the period above specified, and the Fire Department <br />agrees to accept the sum of 55,860.00 Dollars <br />($ ), payable in advance upon the execution of this Agreement. <br />3.2) The City shall also pay to the Fire Department the sum of <br />Ten Thousand and no cents Dollars ($10,000.00 ) to cover the <br />costs incurred by the Fire Department in financing the special fund <br />of the Little Canada Firemen's Relief Association as determined <br />under the provisions of Minnesota Statute 69.774. This amount shall <br />be subject to increase in the event the By -Laws of the Little Canada <br />Firemen's Relief Association are amended to increase the amount of <br />service pension. Any such amendment must be ratified by the Little <br />Canada City Council to be effective. <br />ARTICLE 4 <br />PAYMENT OF SALARIES AND INSURANCE <br />4.1) The entire cost of operation to the Fire Department of <br />salaries, compensation, repairs and upkeep shall be borne by said <br />Fire Department and payment shall be made from the consideration <br />herein stated and the City shall be in no way liable for any amount <br />other than the payment of the amounts herein set forth. <br />-3- <br />
