913. "B -Y / ", BUSINESS- v:AREHOUSING DISTRICT <br />913.010. PURPOSE. The purpose of the "B -W ", Business- Warehousing District is to provide for the establish- <br />ment of wholesale and retail trade of large volume or bulk commercial items, storaoe and warehousing. The overall <br />character of the "B -W" District h intended to be transitional in nature, thus industrial uses allowed within this <br />District shall be limited to those which can compatibly exist odjacent to commercial and lower density activities. <br />913.020. PERMITTED USES. <br />A. Rodio and television stations <br />B. Warehouses <br />C. Governmental and public utility buildings and structures <br />D. Cortaoe and express facilities <br />E. Building materials sales <br />F. Commercial/leased offices <br />G. Transportation terminals <br />H. Research laboratories <br />I. Commercial printing establishments <br />J. Jewelry manufacturing <br />K. Medical, dental and optical laboratories <br />L. Wholesale business <br />M. Private clubs for handball, racketball and tennis <br />N. Commercial recreation <br />O Essentiol services <br />913.030. PERMITTED ACCESSORY USES. <br />A. All permitted occessory uses as allowed in the "8-3" District. <br />B. Semi -truck parking. <br />913.040. CONDITIONAL USES. (Requires a conditional use permit bosed upon procedures set forth in and <br />re aul aced by Section 921 of this Ordinance.) <br />A. - Open and outdoor storope as a principal or accessory use, provided that: <br />1. The area is fenced and screened from view of neighboring residential uses or if abutting an "R" <br />District in compliance with Section 903.020, G of this Ordinance. <br />2. Storage is screened from view from the public right-of -way in compliance with Section 903.020, <br />G of this Ordinance. <br />3. Storage area is grassed or surfaced to control dust. <br />4. All lighting shall be hooded and so directed that the light source shall not be visible from the <br />public right -of -way or from neighboring residences and shall be in compliance with Section <br />903.020, I of this Ordinance. <br />5. Does not take up parking space os required for conformity of this Ordinance. <br />6. The provisions of Section 921.010, E of this Ordinance are considered and satisfactorily met. <br />B. Open or outdoor service, sale and rental as a principal or accessory use provided that: <br />1. Outside services, sales and equipment rental connected with the principal use is limited to <br />thirty (30) percent of the gross floor area of the principal use. <br />2. Outside soles areas ore fenced or screened from view of neighboring residential uses or an abutting <br />"R" District in compliance with Section 903.020, G of this Ordinance. <br />63 <br />
