January 23, 1981
Mr. Peter Costa
Chairman, Planning Commission
City of Little Canada
2903 Vanderbie Road
Little Canada, Minnesota 55117
Dear Mr. Costa:
We are property owners adjacent to land which is being developed .
within the City's Industrial Park. We are concerned because
a facility under construction is directly in line with the rear
of our homestead. It has eight service ramps for truck loading
and if it is built according to the specifications of the existing
facility, it will have yellow vapor lights illuminating our
yard and our home. Prior to contacting the developer, or
considering other action, we were advised to contact you to
determine what the developer has proposed to do in connection
with affording an appropriate buffer zone between existing
homes and the warehouse facility.
Please advise us as soon as possible if the City has any
agreements with the developer regarding use of the land in
question.
Secondly, the Ar -Mon property has extensively used yellow vapor
lights on its development which illuminate the front of our
home. We believe that the lighting could be deflected so that
it does not interfere with the enjoyment of our property.
Thank/0 y
t(a.. mac_! /
\Jerry Kellerman
Kathleen Kellerman
39 East LaBore Road
Little Canada, Minnesota 55117
484 -6094
34
