Johnson and
Susan E. Johnson, that the public hearing considering the vaca-
tion of Lake Street south of the cul -de -sac and accompanying
subdivision be postponed until further notice. Accordingly, we
would request that notice of the public hearing not be sent out
until the public hearing has been rescheduled. I understand
that the next available hearing date would not be until April 8,
1981. In any event, we will contact you within the next one to
two weeks when we have decided to have the hearing date reset.
I understand that you will then reset the public hearing date for
the next available hearing date and notify us of the same. I
understand it will not be necessary for either Mr. or Mrs. Johnson
to be present at the City Council meeting when the hearing date is
reset.
There are two reasons for the postponement. First, it would
not be possible to complete a preliminary plat prior to the
scheduled March llth meeting. Secondly, Mr. and Mrs. Johnson
would like to discuss the proposed vacation and subdivision with
the neighbors so that they will be aware of the proposal before
the public notices arrive.
002
FEB 20 1981
CITY OF
LITTLE CANADA
