February 4, 1981
To theCouncil of Little Canada:
We the undersigned are asking your help in getting a
guard rail put in on the curve on Keller Parkway, just
off Edgerton and Little Canada Road.
We have had several accidents there in the past 2 years.
The last one sent 3 teen agers to the hospital. One was
in serious condition and kept for a week. They ended up
out on the lake.
I have had 2 experiences myself, where Little Canada Road
was extremely slippery after a snow fall and the sanding
trucks had not gotten out yet. I slid thru the stop sign and
was scared to death I wasn't going to stop before coming
to the curve.
In the summer, we have a lot of company and kids from the
church youth group down for swimming etc. and in the fall
they have pow wows. I am worried that some day they will be
there when there is another accident and several of them
could get hurt.
We feel that if a guard rail with big "reflectors were in-
stalled by the telephone pole with the street light attached,
About 100 ft. or so South of the pole and 30 ft. North of it,
Then it should keep cars from going over the bank, or at least
break the fall and keep them from going into the water.
Your consideration and help in this matter would be great
appreciated.
Sincerely,
Mr. & Mrs.
585 Keller
g
n1 i %/;,a
Ken Johanson Kat
Pkwy.
y Cor
I10)1-±-47-j
 ^,V
1 nQu' in
5 Keller Pkwy.
