i Council <br />ruary 13, 1981 <br />Mrs. Scalze stated that according to her calculations there are approximately <br />five property owners opposed to the project within the 350 foot area, out <br />of a possible 30 property owners. -- <br />Waite informed the Council that he owned the property before the <br />Schrier matter ever came up. Mr. Waite also stated that he talked to <br />Mrs. Strouth and she was not opposed to his proposal. <br />Mayor Hanson stated that the matter could be tabled until March 4 and this <br />would give the City time to get the appraisals on the property. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81 -2 -63 - CLOSING THE PUBLIC HEARING ON <br />THE PROPOSED PUD REZONING OF THE ROCKY WAITE PROPERTY <br />ON RUTH STREET <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Nardini. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Nardini, Hanson, Forsberg, Fahey. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Reso es .- . ...op e.. <br />is resolution appears in Resolution Book No. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81 -2 -64 - TABLING ANY ACTION ON THE REQUEST <br />FOR A PUD REZONING FOR LOTS 5 THROUGH 23 AND 36 THROUGH 48, <br />BLOCK 13, NORTH HEIGHTS ADDITION UNTIL MARCH 4, 1981 AT <br />WHICH TIME WE SHOULD CONSIDER THE ENTIRE AREA ON RUTH STREET <br />FROM DEMONT TO COUNTY ROAD C IN CONNECTION WITH PLANNING <br />DISTRICT 6 AND 11 SO THAT THE COUNCIL CAN DETERMINE WHAT WILL <br />BE IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE CITY FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE <br />ENTIRE AREA AND DURING THE INTERIM WOULD REQUEST THAT AN <br />APPRAISER BE HIRED TO EVALUATE THE PROPERTY IN QUESTION ON <br />RUTH STREET AS WELL AS THE PROPERTY TO THE NORTH ALONG RUTH <br />STREE 'ND THE SCHRIER PROPERTY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Scalze, Hanson, Nardini, Forsberg. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 7, Page 38. <br />The City Clerk informed the audience that the March 4, 1981 meeting would <br />be held at the Little Canada School. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81 -2 -65 - DECLARING A MORATORIUM ON THE ISSUANCE <br />OF ANY BUILDING PERMITS FOR LOTS 5 THROUGH 23 AND LOTS 36 THROUGH <br />48, BLOCK 13, NORTH HEIGHTS ADDITION AND LOTS 1 THROUGH 48, <br />BLOCK 1, NORTH HEIGHTS ADDITION AS WELL AS THE SCHRIER PROPERTY <br />LOCATED ON COUNTY ROAD C AND THE PIECE OF R -3 ZONED PROPERTY <br />LOCATED ON VIKING DRIVE SO THAT IN THE INTERIM BEFORE THE <br />MARCH 4, 1981 HEARING THE COUNCIL IS NOT PREVENTED FROM CON- <br />SIDERING THE OVERALL DEVELOPMENT OF THE AREA UNTIL IT HAS THE <br />Pagc S 2� —A- <br />
