Office of:
JOSEPH G. CHLEBECK, Clerk
515 Little Canada Road
Little Canada, Minn. 55117
484 -2177
Nov. 15, 1982
CITY OF LITTLE CANADA
RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA
Dear Little Canada Residents:
MAYOR
Raymond Hanson
COUNCI L
Michael Fahey
Beverly Scalze
Dennis Forsberg
Mugs Nardinl
The Metropolitan Waste Control Commission (M.W.C.C.) is the agency that
is responsible for the sewage collection and treatment in the Minneapolis/
St. Paul Metropolitan Area. As a part of its major interceptor sewer
program, the M.W.C.C. is planning to construct a new interceptor sewer
through the City of Little Canada in the general area west and south of
Lake Gervais. The M.W.C.C. has requested that the City of Little Canada
assist them in communicating with those people in Little Canada who may be
affected, in some manner, by the proposed sewer project.
In order to inform those people who may be impacted by the project, a
public information meeting and discussion will be held at the Little
Canada City Hall on November 24, 1982 at 8:00 p.m. At that time, repre-
sentatives of the M.W.C.C. will be present to explain the scope of the
project, the schedule, and to answer any questions you may have. The
M.W.C.C. and the City feel that by early contact with property owners, we
should be able to avoid some of the confusion and problems that are normal
with major construction projects. Maps illustrating the project will be
available for inspection at the City Hall beginning on Monday,'November 22nd.
This letter has been sent to you because your property is located in the
area of the proposed facility. You are invited to come to the meeting to
become more informed about the project.
Sincerely,
Joseph G. Chlebeck
Clerk
City of Little Canada
