The <br />land in question is northeast of 35E and Hwy. 36. It <br />is zoned R2. <br />They are proposing a private road. The culdesac is <br />larger than what is required for a culdesac. The road <br />would be 24 feet wide. Mr. Tom Ducharme was concerned <br />that the road would be too narrow for a fire engine to <br />go through. <br />A motion was made by Roy French to recommend to the City <br />Council to hold a public hearing, and to hold their de- <br />cision until the Planning Commission reviews it again at <br />the next month's meeting, and reviews more material about <br />the width of the road and the culdesac. <br />Seconded by LeRoy LeMay <br />Approved: 7 -0 <br />ART RYAN: Mr. Art Ryan appeared requesting a building permit. This <br />Ryan A= reementt'/ plan is all right with the City Council. <br />A motion was made by Joe Vitale to approve this agreement <br />with Art Ryan, that it meets all City requirements and is <br />approved by the City Council and is executed. <br />Seconded by Sharon Timmons <br />Approved: 7 -0 <br />LITTLE CANADA MALL: A motion was made by LeRoy LeMay to recommend to the City <br />Final Plat i Council to approve this final plat, Lot 1, Block 1, with <br />recommendations from the City Attorney and City Engineer. <br />TEXT AMENDMENT: <br />Senior Housing <br />Seconded by Tom Ducharme. <br />Approved: 7 -0 <br />The City is looking at land just east of the Market Place. <br />It is zoned B -3. To put a housing of this type on this <br />land it must be rezoned or include a Senior Citizens' <br />building - a CUP. <br />A motion was made by Sharon Timmons to recomment to the <br />City Council to approve an amendment to allow Senior <br />Citizens building in a B3 zone. <br />Seconded by Jim Steele. <br />Approved: 7 -0 <br />02 <br />
