}
Ramsey - Washington Metro Watershed District
Mr. J. C. Hammond
695 County Road B2
Little Canada, Minnesota 55117
985 Ruth Street St. Paul, Minnesota 55119
July 9, 1982
Re: Ramsey- Washington Metro Watershed District
Permit 135
Dear Mr. Hammond:
lUi 13 1982
CITY OF
LITTLE CANADA
This letter is to inform you that you are still in violation of Provision
5 of Permit 135 issued to you for your construction activities at 695 County
Road B2 in Little Canada. This provision is the provision for compensating
excavation required for fill placed within the floodplain. The Board is
aware that during the winter and spring of 1982, the City of Little Canada
performed some construction activities which would have provided some com-
pensation for the amount of fill within your parcel. However, the City has
not provided the District with any information indicating the amount of material
which was excavated from the floodplain as part of their construction project.
Attached is a letter which was sent to the City's engineering advisor and was
also copied to the City Clerk. This letter indicated that the information
which had been supplied to the District from the City was insufficient for
the District to allocate any compensation for your parcel. Since that time,
the District has received no further information from the City and, therefore,
the District is forced to view your project as being in violation of the
fill compensation requirements of your permit. The Board requests that you
take immediate steps to bring your project within compliance of this permit.
REL /111
enc.
c: Little Canada City Council
Mr. Tim Sullivan
Mr. Ray Marshall
Mr. Chris Drake
Mr. Cliff Aichinger
Sincerely,
i
Roger E.
