Since Vadnais Heights only had 2 of 3 <br />sirens installed, and as I recall, they had $10,000.00 in their budget for <br />sirens, it is possible that they will not now need the loan from Shoreview <br />covering Siren #2. I will leave this up to you and your contract with Gerry <br />Urban. <br />Testing of Siren #1 on July 7, 1982, indicated a reading of 114 to 115 deci- <br />bels at 200 feet. This factors to 123 to 124 decibels at 100 feet as re- <br />quired by the contract. A DOT calibrated meter was employed in the testing. <br />Our next test will be at ranges out to 4500 feet and 70 db as required by <br />our warning plan.
