NORTHWEST ASSOCIATED CONSULTANTS INC. <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Little Canada Planning Commission <br />FROM: Alan Brixius /Brad Nielsen <br />DATE: May 6, 1982 <br />RE: Zoning Ordinance Amendment - Rental Halls <br />FILE NO: 758.09 (82.13) <br />DEFINITION <br />Rental Hall. A structure or portion thereof made available for compensation <br />for private use by groups for assembly, for prearranged periods of time. <br />PARKING REQUIREMENT <br />30. Rental Hall. One (1) offstreet parking space per every twenty -four <br />(24) square feet of main assembly area and one (1) space for each <br />eighty (80) square feet of kitchen area. <br />CONDITIONAL USE <br />909.040. Conditional Uses. (Requires a conditional use permit based upon the <br />procedures set forth in and regulated by Section 921 of this Ordinance.) <br />I. Rental halls, neighborhood or community centers, provided that: <br />1. Side yards shall be doubled that required for the district where <br />abutting a residential district, but no greater than thirty (30) <br />feet. <br />2. The site and related parking and service entrances are served by <br />an arterial or collector street of sufficient capacity to accommodate <br />the traffic which will be generated. <br />3. Adequate off - street parking is provided in compliance with Section <br />903.050 of this Ordinance. <br />4. Adequate off - street loading is provided in compliance with Section <br />903.060 of this Ordinance. <br />5.
