Little Canada Road
Little Canada, MN 55117
Dear Mr. Chlebeck:
In April 1981, the Board of Ramsey County Commissioners appointed a
Solid Waste Management Advisory Council to make recommendations on land- -
fill abatement alternatives, as required by the Minnesota Waste Management
Act, that could be implemented to reduce the amount of waste going to
sanitary landfills. Implementation of any landfill abatement alternatives
will undoubtedly require the input and encouragement from the City of
Little Canada.
As part of the planning effort, we prepared an eight minute slide
presentation that describes solid waste management alternatives being
considered by the Advisory Council. I thought it would be informative
to make a presentation to the City Council on solid waste management
planning activities in the County, and how they affect the City of Little
Canada, and answer questions.
It is my understanding that we are scheduled for 7:30 on June 9
to make a presentation to the City Council.
DGW /gt
cc: Raymond G.
