PAUL, MINNESOTA 55102 Please be advised that we have reviewed the contract documents furnished to us by you relative to the above captioned matter. I an forwarding to the City three copies of the Form of Agreement, together with two copies of the Certificate of Insurance. The Agreement is in proper form and may be executed by the City, after the provisions of the General Conditions have been complied with relative to the Performance and Payment Bond. In this regard, please find enclosed the original of the Performance Bond, which you furnished to us. The corporate acknowledgement, a copy of which is found on page 17 of the General Conditions, must be attached to the Performance Bond, indicating that the appropriate officer of Total Asphalt Construction Co., has executed the Bond on behalf of the corporation, with authority granted by the corporation. It is also necessary that the contractor provide a Labor and Material Payment Bond to comply with Paragraph 3 on page 2 of the General Conditions. The proposed format of a combination Performance and Payment Bond is found on page 16 of the General Conditions. Would you please inform the contractor of these require- ments.
