PAUL, MINNESOTA 55102 <br />Please be advised that we have reviewed the contract <br />documents furnished to us by you relative to the above <br />captioned matter. I an forwarding to the City three copies <br />of the Form of Agreement, together with two copies of the <br />Certificate of Insurance. The Agreement is in proper form <br />and may be executed by the City, after the provisions of <br />the General Conditions have been complied with relative to <br />the Performance and Payment Bond. <br />In this regard, please find enclosed the original of <br />the Performance Bond, which you furnished to us. The <br />corporate acknowledgement, a copy of which is found on <br />page 17 of the General Conditions, must be attached to <br />the Performance Bond, indicating that the appropriate <br />officer of Total Asphalt Construction Co., has executed <br />the Bond on behalf of the corporation, with authority <br />granted by the corporation. It is also necessary that the <br />contractor provide a Labor and Material Payment Bond to <br />comply with Paragraph 3 on page 2 of the General Conditions. <br />The proposed format of a combination Performance and Payment <br />Bond is found on page 16 of the General Conditions. <br />Would you please inform the contractor of these require- <br />ments.
