February 12, 1982
To: The Planning Board and City Council of
Little Canada
I would like to apply for a variance for my nice new
storage shed. Chapter 903.020 D. 3 provides that
assessory buildings shall not exceed 15' in height.
My building is 17' high. I am therefore requesting a
two foot variance.
I would also like to apply for any other variance the
city council may think I legally require for my nice
new storage shed this month or in the future.
If I need a Conditional Use Permit for the floor area
of'my nice new storage shed, (Chapter 903.020 D 4) I
would like to apply for one - but only if I legally need
one. Present usable floor area is less than 1000 sq.
feet.
I would also like to request a variance to install a farm
type windmill on my commercial property not to exceed 50
feet in height. Section 910.060, page 56 permits heights
of not more than 36 feet high. The purpose of this wind-
mill would be to generate low voltage electricity and to
enhance the aesthetics of my property.
Enclosed is a check for $100.00 which I feel is an excessively
large amount to expect a private individual to pay for non
commercial and non industrial type conditional use permits
and /or variances.
Respectfulhy1 Subthittte d,
Donald J. Gagne
P.S. I will be out of town on March 4th, so my wife will
represent me at the March 4th Planning Board Meeting.
If any planning board member has any questions I
may answer before February 27th, please call me at
482 -2056 (work) or 484 -7519 (home).
Encl.
n6
